What can I do....

Hey everyone, I'm not quite sure If this thread should be started here but I'm hoping some of you may be able to help me. I've been taking summer classes and I didn't have time to take the course to get CNA certified in which I wanted to do. In my area, which is MASS. im not quite sure if they hold courses on the weekends. I was wondering if there is any other class to take besides to become a CNA. I know this sounds really stupid but isn't there a class where someone can get certified to draw blood from people? If so, what are these people called? I'm so confused, i really want to work in a hospital care setting. I hope some of you may be able to help me! Thanks guys.

Phlebotomy is where people draw blood, i think they give shots in some parts of the country but im not sure. There are some certified phlebotomists(SP) on allnurses, find them and they can tell you all about that area.

Some Nursing homes train there own CNA's so you might want to look into that.

Hope that helps

Andy
