What does Accepted Auto mean?

I applied to nursing school November 10th 2011. At the school I applied to you can check your application status online by logging into your account and it will tell you what things are still needed to complete your application if needed, dates everything was accepted, and the disposition of your application. For a while there it kept saying Dispositon In Process. I checked again this morning and it stated Accepted Auto as of 12/01/11. Does that mean I am accepted into the nursing program or does it just mean they accepted my application?

    There is no way for us to know since this is not a system used by every school. Call the school on Monday and ask. Or try posting the name of the school in the state forum for your state and see if anyone who is attending that same school can answer for you.

    I got my acceptance letter in the mail today. So accepted auto I guess was a great thing.

    Congratulations! You're about to embark on an amazing, stressful, insane, trying, intense, and rewarding journey. There will be days when you wonder why you had to choose nursing as your field of interest, and there will be days when you know that you will never do anything else with your life. Nursing school has its ups and downs, but it is so worth it. I'm about to finish first semester, and I've loved nearly every minute of it. Sure there have been times when I've been tired, stressed, overloaded, and overwhelmed, but you get used to all of that. Once again, congratulations, and good luck!
