WGU RN to BSN Accreditation

WGU's website clearly lists all their accreditations...

WGU's institutional accreditation comes from the North Central Association of Schools and Colleges, and its nursing programs are accredited by the CCNE (Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education).

WGU is recognized by many employers, including mine. I am employed at a specialty hospital that is owned and operated by a national hospital corporation.

Thank you The Commuter. I am now starting to read some of your posts and find them very helpful.

I work for a hospital where they are not on their list for tuition reimbursement, and when I inquired about it, they advised that although they had received lots of requests from employees, they did not reconsider them, r/t the credits they offer are different, and their credits were not transferable for higher learning.

Although your workplace chooses to not approve WGU for tuition, their credits have been accepted for transfer to various MSN and dnp programs.
