Hello all! I am currently working towads becoming an rn in California. I have most of my prerequisites completed and I am currently working towards completing all of them. The problem that I am having is the wait lists for nursing programs near me. An rn friend told me about WGU and I wanted to try and get some info regarding their B.S. prelicensure program in California. Is anyone currently enrolled or has anyone already completed the program in California? I am located in the inland empire and I am worried about where their clinical sites are located. Where are their clinical locations? Do you feel like it is a good school? Any advice and info would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you

I know for certain, that Mission in OC is contracted with WGU for clinicals. It's a Magnet hospital and from what my two sister-in-laws say, WGU is pretty good- no issues with students or anything.
give them a call- they will answer all of your questions. Jackie Horton was super nice!
