Hey, guys I didn't see a thread for this new application cycle. How many of you guys have submitted your applications? Have you heard anything back?

I applied on the day the app was due and I still haven’t heard anything!! I am getting a little nervous now and hate that we’ve been waiting so long! ? anyone else still in the same position as me?

Same! I haven’t heard anything. I submitted at the end of August. I’m trying to be patient but it’s so hard not hearing anything!

I don’t think submission time matters. I submitted my application 2 days before it closed. as long as you guys didn’t get a rejection letter I think you guys still have a good chance of getting in! a lot of people tend to rescind their applications for various reasons

I guess it’s a good thing — at least it’s not a rejection. I submitted it on the day it was due haha. When did you submit yours?

Im so nervous I just got a email that said an update has been posted to my application status but I do not want to look! 

I was wondering if anyone who received an interview request what did the email look like? Do rejections and interview requests look the same when they update your application status? I am afraid I got rejected and am too scared to look! ahhhhhhhhhhhh

Hi did you just receive this as an email or did you first receive an email that said an update has been made to your application status?

I didn’t get an email saying I had an update! I just got the email saying I got an interview.

Hi so do you think that means it’s a rejection since I received an email saying an update has been made to my application status since that’s the email I got instead of getting an email that I got the interview like you did?

I got an email that said I had an update when I was accepted, so I think getting an update could really be either outcome! The interview comes as a separate email.

When I got an invite to interview they sent it straight to my email (no message saying there was an update to my portal). When you log onto the portal, they provide you with a link to set up an interview date/time. If you’ve already interviewed or did EAO, your final decision (acceptance, rejection, waitlist) should be available if they just emailed you.

I also got an email indicating there has been an update on my application status.
