Western University MSN-E Application Time!

Well, I thought this day would never come, but the application period for Western U's MSN-E program starts a week from today!

I'm beyond nervous, as I've been working on this career change for over three years now. Every time I write a little of my personal statement I get a little shaky. This is so unlike me too, I'm usually cool as a cucumber.

Anyone else here planning to apply for 2012? Are you as nervous as I am?

Please post if anyone gets an email. Im extremely stressed just waiting.lol

tick tock...a little over an hour before the end of the day. Maybe notices aren't going out today since they just finalized their decisions this afternoon?? Do you guys have backup plans if Western doesn't pan out?

Western is my last chance for this year! I got denied from two other schools, and waitlisted at one.... So if this doesn't pan out, i'll just have to try again next year. All is good... Eventually it'll happen (hopefully today or tomorroww - ha) :)

I was denied from one other school, hoping to get an interview for one other, but really hoping and praying for WESTERN!

I applied to SMU and was waitlisted. (Competition is fierce this year!) And waiting on Western. If only all the prereqs were the same, I could have applied to more schools but I just started applying to schools as I finished the courses they required. So next year I'll be able to apply to some more programs if I need to. The silver lining of NOT getting into Western this year would be that starting fall 2013 I won't have to worry about rent AND school at the same time since I can bum off my guy who will be done with his schooling and *hopefully* have landed a full time job by then. ;)

I applied to SMU also.... Both Sac and Oakland campus. That's a tough school to get into! I got waitlisted at the Oakland one. Ugh! There's always a silver lining.... I try to always find out. Hope you get in, but if not, it sounds like it will work out OK!

Seriously one of the most stressful days EVER! LOL I have been at work checking my computer VERY often. I keep stretching like this little fella on my chair.

Thanks for sharing guys! I'm doing the same - here at work...refreshing allnurses and my email inbox. driving myself nutts. I guess I'm just glad I'm not the only one. Thanks for helping me keep my sanity...well whatever's left of it!
