Hi there, my name is Ashley I am an 18 year old high school student.I live in SW PA by Cal U. I have just recently applied for Fall 2009. I emailed the school and all my information has reached them so now I am waiting for a return call/email to set up a personal interview. I have been by the school already, and I really liked the area, and I would be living at the nursing school if I am accepted. I am going to ask for a tour when I have my interview, so I will let you know everything I can then. Not many people post about this school so I figured I would post and share what I can with you in the future.

Hi Sid,
I graduated from West Penn in 2005. It was a difficult program, but extremely worthwile. I really feel like it prepared me well clinically. The instructors take the time to get to know you, help you grow and learn. If you have any specific questions, feel free to message me.
Good luck,
Josh

Hi there,
I am currently a student at WPHSON. I agree with Josh, it's a very difficult program.. and you will not have much time for anything else in your life (it's a Sat night and I'm reading integumentary problems).. but, I feel like they give us good clinical experience. Sometimes, the teachers can be a bit frustrating... but, I don't know that it would be much different elsewhere...
