So I may have possibly been offered a position here. How are the benefits? I can't find any of that information on the website. I can tell you pay. New grad RN (hiring 16 of them) $22.57. Starting pay for med/surg 25.27, tele/OB 26.79, ICU/ER 28.40. 2 year commitment if your a new grad with an additional year if you accept $3,000 relocation costs. 2 days in class 2 days on the floor for I think 4 weeks. Then you have your preceptor on the unit. They do know what you are interested in and you will get there in a year or less. You start on med/surg or tele. If you have a BSN they will pay you one dollar more per hour. Not sure about differentials or anything.

I would take the job for experience but would not commit for 3 years. They hospital has been poorly ran. They have a hard time retaining staff. (that says a lot). The hospital lacks resources to provided patient care in the community. They transfer many patients to Las Vegas. Where other hospitals in the area can care for those patients. Some units on the floor are very clickie. If you get a long with certain people you'll be fine. Good luck

Potentially a great place but an adm that makes you walk long before your time.
