I recently applied to several local RN programs, WHCL being one of them. I am curious to see if you have as well. Any current or alumni, if willing, were your stats upon entry?
Good luck to everyone!!
Well I'm hoping there's less applicants with as many points this time so we can get in somewhere lol well that's reassuring thanks for letting me know about your friend. Good luck to you I hope you get in ? Yes the way the reading is set up is so confusing. I didn't run out of time but I didn't have enough time to go back and re read lol

Oh wow! Well I think LVN is a smart idea, I am a CNA and am considering LVN next too! Its getting crazy with competition!

I've also applied at COS and Fresno City but unfortunately was not selected in the FCC lottery. I finished all of my PRE Reqs in 2017 so I'm hoping I can get accepted this year if not I'm hoping I can do the LVN program. Good luck to you all.
Did they calculate your points for you and give you the 88 that you also calculated? I know a girl who got into West Hills last fall with an 87, so I am curious why you wouldn't get in with an 88 which is a great number. Also, did they give you a reason why you were not selected?
I applied with I believe 84 points... the thing is I don't have any healthcare experince because I just took my pre-reqs but I am not too worried. I am taking a CNA class currently to gain those 6 points which would put me in the 90s. If I don't get in this year, most likely I will get in next year. The counselor hinted that if you are in the 90s, your chances are insanely high. Good luck to everyone!
P.S... the competiton range last year was 85-97 which is the most competitive it has been in years. Hopefully the ranges doesnt go any higher and all of us get in with our points!

I'm pretty sure I calculated them myself and was almost positive I had an 87 or 88 the last application period so I though I had a good shot but nope. I just got a letter in my email stating that although I was a qualified applicant there were too many applicants and unfortunately I was not offered a seat.
Hi there! I applied to West Hills, Merced, and Fresno City, I wasn’t selected this round for FCC... now I’m just waiting on these results. I believe I got 88 points, but that’s my calculations... not sure I actually get awarded those points. Good luck to everyone!!! Hope we find out sooner than later
Hello I applied to West Hills with 90 points. I have health Care experience in acute setting. My overall GPA is 3.6.. This is my first year applying. My TEAs score is not the best since I didn’t study as much as I wanted to but I’m in the 70s. The counselor I spoke with said last year some students got in with 83 points. I’m hoping I have a good chance of getting in.
