Hi everyone! My name is Julian I just applied to WHCC RN program for the Fall 2021 cohort. I thought it would be necessary to create this topic to discuss and talk and freak out about the upcoming nursing selection together LOL. I applied with 91.35 points. Has anyone else applied yet???

Hi Julian, I didn’t apply to west hills but I saw that you applied to COS as well. Do you mind sharing how many points you had for COS?

Hi Julian I applied here also! well I'm working on the application right now. Do you mind if I ask did you apply with official or unofficial transcripts? I was confused because I saw "unofficial" on their website but "official" on their check off list

Hi, glad to see I’m not alone! LOL. So I was messing around and accidentally ordered my official transcripts and had them sent to me electronically, so I did use official transcripts. However, I don’t think they are necessary. After reading the instructions it states that they are going to ask you for official transcripts during your conditional admission, I personally think you should be fine with unofficial ones

Hi! It looks like I’m applying with 91.3 points. This is my own calculation so it could be more or less LOL! Are you applying to any other programs?

LOL right! I might end up with 75 points wondering where I went wrong! I applied to Fresno and COS as well, what about you??

Hey there! I applied but I think not having some of the pre-reqs complete (chem in progress and no nutrition) is going to lose me points and make me not competitive. Congrats on having points in the 90's that's amazing.

Thank you! Don’t lose hope, they’re in need of nurses now more than ever, so hopefully they lax the requirements a bit this cohort. How is Chemistry going?

Thank you! It's not too bad but it's definitely a different experience doing virtual labs. I'm just surprised looking back that I hadn't taken Chemistry before. I have my Bachelor's in Public Health from National and it just wasn't a requirement of theirs. Unfortunately that kept me from applying to Fresno City this go around. I plan on applying to Merced in the Spring as well.

I applied for Fresno and COS as well! I am finishing my Fresno State app up today.. good luck to us and everyone else!! I hate that we have to wait until April... I'm so nervous

For West Hills I understood that you need unofficial and if you are selected then you submit the official transcripts.

I applied for the 2021 LVN -RN program at WC, so if I'm selected I think that means I'd join your fall class in Spring of 2022. I added my points up to 95. I had to edit this response because I'm a dork and apparently can't add... LOL I hope to see you all there!!
