West GA Tech PN 2021

Published

Hello all I applied to the pn program at west GA tech today and I am looking for others who have also applied.

@TStory8403 Same here I just took a gamble with applying. I bombed the TEAS. So we will see ??‍♂️

They said only 20 people per campus will be accepted.

Yeah I heard that as well. Did you take the TEAS once or twice?

I was only able to take it once. I realized I was able to apply mid May.

I took it twice. My score went up 10 points the second go round. I probably should have taken it a third time but I took a gamble as well.

@TStory8403 yeah I wish I could have tested again. To be honest I’m hoping a lot of people didn’t apply ?

I only took it once and got a 75.3. Hopefully I won’t regret not taking it a second time.

Yeah I ended up getting a 70 and my GPA is like a 3.44

@Mandersonfu I don’t think you bombed it! It’s just a waiting game now....hopefully we will find something out sooner than later.

I only took the TEAS once as well . Mind you, I finished my prerequisites two years ago smh. I should have take it again . I am really regretting that decision since only 20 people are selected . I thought for sure that they would at least have 28 seats. I am going to apply for some Spring programs if I do not get into this one . I want to avoid schools that require different test, but I may consider taking some of the other test . Athens has an evening program that I may apply to as well if I do not get into this one .

If I don’t get a seat in 1/3 schools I’ve applied to I am going to do the same thing. The evening program at Athens is great! I spoke with the program director a while ago. It is a little bit longer than the day program but it allows for you to work which a lot of us have to do.

Hey ladies did anyone receive an email with their competitive score?

I got mine yesterday morning after texting for an update . I was a bit disappointed as I calculated completely wrong and was about 5 points shorter than I thought . The formula is your grade point average multiplied by .40 ( my average was 3.3=83 ) .83*40 and your TEAS score multiplied by .60 so mine was 72*.60 and then add the two . GPA is worth 40% and TEAS is worth 60% . We will know if we are accepted on or before July 8 .
