Hi Guys,

Quick question: Does West Coast University still offer a LVN to BSN program? I realize that they are not accepting new applications for the LVN to RN Bridge program that they once were offering (I have heard that they want to direct their time/attention to the BSN program instead). Please let me know. Also can you attend their curriculum part-time????? I really need to know and I do not want to take a meeting with advisement there, until I get the basics covered to meet my needs.

Thank you and have a lovely day!

I actually attended their info session bec my coworker begged me to go, so I told her i only wanted info and not enroll. I ended up scheduling the HESI LOL. They just approved the LVN to BSN program, so they subtract a semester off of their previous straight BSN program and about 15k off the total. As for the schedule, it changes, they said it could range from 2 to about 4 days a week, they do give you your schedules way in advance so you can try to work it out with your employer or whatever, also, they have morning and night classes, but you are not allowed to choose, if you want to ask someone to trade with you and they agree then you can. Good luck!

Nice! Thank you so much for the information. Please let me know if you progress with them. I am currently getting my LVN from Concorde (just down the street from WCU) and I am very interested in obtaining my BSN after I graduate. Good Luck and again thank you :)
