Hi everyone, Im hoping to start west coast university in the fall of 2016, I take my Hesi in a couple of weeks and I dont have any transferable credits,I'm starting fresh so my tuition is a bit much.I know that the financial department helps with all of that but I was told I have to look into applying for grants now before its too to get as much as I can. Im new to this whole college thing and can't find many places to get grants and scholarships to reduce the tuition. any pointers?

Stay far away from that school. The tuition for there is insane and not worth it at all. $150k for a RN degree? How will you ever pay that back? You won't make enough money as a nurse. Look at your education as an investment. The return on your salary as a nurse won't be worth the investment.
I don't even think they are accredited. You won't find a job if they are not. I'm talking nationally accredited. By the actual nursing association not the for profit health science accreditation.
Stay away from places like that. They are scams.

The massive student loan debt will eventually be the ball and chain that weighs a graduate down for many years to come.

If you can't take the time to do a 5 second Google search on the school, don't answer questions about it.
West Coast is expensive, yes. It's accredited by both CCNE and WASC. Take your pre-requisites at a community college and transfer them if this is the program you want.
