So im going to apply to west coast, im meeting with the advisors and all that right now..
I was wondering for those who have applied before, how well did your pre-reqs transfer?
i only want to go if i can get most of my pre-reqs transfered so i can take a chunk out of the massive tuition.
they really wont give me a solid answer on weather my pre-reqs transfer untill i meet with the person who deals with that.

As they shouldn't. No one knows better than the person that does the job. I just graduated from west coast and less than a month after NCLEX I have a job. Great school, awesome instructors. Good luck!
thats great to hear! congrats!
do you remember if they accepted most of your pre-reqs?

Actually they did. I think I had to do less than a year of their pre-reqs, but I didn't have that many for them to take and I did test out of some of the classes (that's a great option!)

I go to WCU and they took 6 of my pre reqs. So I had a little under a year of their stuff to do. The only ones they usually don't take are pathophysiology, biochem, cultural pluralism (although that may have changed) and if you didn't take HUMAN anatomy and human physiology separate. They can't be combined like "anatomy and physiology part A" etc. Some schools do it that way so that's a common issue I have heard of. Most other stuff they take as long as it is the correct units. Also, you can't take interpersonal communication and have it cover for public speaking. I really like it there though. Good luck!
Im thinking about challenging the Biochem by testing? do you think thats a wise decision?
i just want to transfer as many credits as possible.. im missing Sociology/writing 2/college math
yeah i heard that about the patho and cultural pluralism which ill take at WCU
thanks to both of you for all the information btw!

If you have a strong base in chem, and o-Chem sure...if you don't I wouldn't :/

Yea, if you are REALLY good at O. chem/general/some bio chem, I would say go for it. But I have heard they make their challenge tests extremely hard. Chem is not my thing and it was the hardest class I have taken at WCU, so I bet their challenge exam is pretty crazy. Good luck, though!
The challenge tests are HARD that is correct. Way harder than the class, but do-able!!!!
