Anyone have info on the phase II at Wesley? How are the clinical and how are the students treated? Are there plenty of opportunity for regionals, central line etc ?

I email'd you. I think you are fine. I know people there and also know the clinical coordinator and a lot of the staff. You will get good experience and they treat the students well from what I hear.
I do know that You will have to do the OB rotation at another site. But, thats not a big deal as they have done it that way for awhile. From what I hear they put the students up somewhere nice. Don't quote me as this being "for sure" but I think they go to brownsville tx for OB.
Wichita has lots of neuro, cv, peds, trauma and everything in between. You will definatly get your cases in. There are 3 big hospitals here and lots of surgical specialists as well as lots of sick patients.
Just focus on enjoying life now, passing classes during didactic, and then worry about clinicals. From what I understand it is a really enjoyable experience and I am looking forward to clinicals.
Let me know if you need any help finding an apt in wichita. Been here a long time and know a lot about different area's of town.
good luck

Have you checked out their web sites? I know they are PR focused. Don't know if you will find what you want.

A bit of background about the Wichita hospitals (if you don't already know)...
Via Christi has 3 campuses - St Francis, St Joseph and Riverside. Also within in the Via Christ 'umbrella' are several primary care clinics, a rehab facility - Our Lady of Lourds and inpatient psych services - Good Shephard. Via Christi is also the location were the University of Kansas School of Medicine - Wichita Campus does their trauma residency (among others) rotation.
* St Francis (~450 beds) houses the Level I Trauma Center, a PICU, Surgical/Trauma ICU, Regional Burn Center, MICU, CCU, CVICU and Neuro Critical Care. Within their walls, they also house Select Speciality Hospital and an inpatient hospice (both on their own payrolls).
* St Joseph (~250 beds) houses the L&D, a Level III NICU (peds is at St Francis), SICU and MICU/CCU. They also have an inpatient geri-psych and do psych intake assessments for Good Shepard. They are not a Trauma Center of any level.
* Riverside was just recently converted to ambulatory/day surgery. They have no ER or ICU facilities.
The Wesley 'umbrella' has several primary care clinics and a rehab facility. All the specialities are housed under one roof. They are also a Level I Trauma Center and have a Level III NICU. They also have the area's hyperbaric therapy chamber(s). Select Speciality Hospital also has a facility housed as Wesley.
If you talk to a variety of the population in and around Wichita, you will find people who are staunchly Via-Christi and people who are staunchly Wesley. Both are good places for clinical experience.
Good Luck

Via christi st francis and riverside do not take TWU students. Newman students are at st francis and wesley.
The students are placed with an anesthesia group which happens to do most of its work at a particular facility. The choices TWU students get are st jo and wesley. You are then basically put with this group and a clinical coordinator that works there. You are not a "ward" of the hospital so to speak.
TWU has been educating CRNA's forever. Very established in the anesthesia community with good clinical sites that like having students from TWU b/c of intensive physiology classes from Dr. Reinke.
