Hi--
Not sure if I am posting in the right forum...but here goes...
I am curious to know how many of the new nurses were offered student loan repayment once hired on their new jobs?? I was wondering if its common for an employer to offer repayment of your student loans? I am wondering because I have student loans from previous schooling, and I will probably need more once I enter the nursing program. Will they repay ALL the loans or only the ones associated with your nursing degree?? Hopefully someone can help. Thanks!

I amnot sure about all hospitals but here in town they do not offer loan repayment. They do tuiton reimbursment of up to $1,500 a year @@ but I know some hospitals will repay loans as like a sign on bonus I would assume it would only be loans associated with your nursing degree though.

Yes, the hospital I work for offered a loan repayment. Although, it's not going to cover even a 1/4 of my loans - $7500. At least it's something...
