Weird timing??

So, I just decided to pursue nurisng as my degree.. I am so excited. Looking at my school website I realized that I have to take the teas test. But it says for teas tests for fall2016 the testing window is September 2015-to march 2016. So if I want to apply at the end of fall 2016, I have to take my teas by March 2016. Problem is by the end of March, I will still have not taken any of my biologies! Is this something I can effectively study for using my ati manual and pass???

I was hoping to take the teas the September before I apply, since the application isn't due till January and I can still take a class to.count towards admission winter quarter. As long as it's finished and graded by April first. Is that strange that they say the testing window is only till march 2016 for fall 2016? I would have figured I had till the day I applied?

You have the study guide already? Have you looked through it?

Take some practice tests, and see how much you already know! If it's a struggle then maybe you should wait and tackle the test after you've had some more science classes.

Personally, I felt like everything on the TEAS I had learned in high school, but everyone has different experiences and variations in their high school curriculum.

Good luck!

The science section was super basic stuff. The manual will prepare you well.

Thank you so much! that is very good to know. I am less worried now. I cannot remember I thing from my high school bio. Maybe kids will not only exhaust you but also wipe your memory! ;)

The TEAS manual is very helpful for studying for the test, but it doesn't go into the material in depth. I'd recommend using other references as well.
