Good luck to both of you.
Hi courtney! Ok! Lets do this together. So PM me ur study plan for every day of this week and ill pm mine to you. So we can come up with a new plan. Good luck to us! :) btw, what resources are you using?
For some reason I don't have enough posts to send a PM, but I'll just send it on here. Guess that's what its for anyways. Well, I'm Courtney and I graduated on the 14th. I went on a cruise after that, so I've been hardcore studying since the 30th. I did a lot of questions during school, but didn't really study core content.
My resources include: Kaplan (not the q bank just the book), ATI questions online, Exam Cram, Prentice Hall Comprehensive Review, NCLEX made incredibly easy, and the MOST helpful so far Prioritization, Delegation, and Assignment by LaCharity. I'm not going through all of these many of them were just given to me.
June 16th- My list for today includes
- Review of Pharm and Calculations for 1 hour
- Review the Care of Children for 1 hour
- Care of Children and Pharm final on ATI (50 questions each)
- Exam Cram Test I - (160 questions)
- Chapt. 7-12 - LaCharity
- Review Lab Values
So, I'll let you know this evening if I get this all done :)
Good luck on studying.
Hey! Just to check in. I completed my review this morning. I didn't get to review Pharm as much as I would of liked, but it still got done. The Child Care exam I got a 68% and on Pharmacology I got a 70%. The Exam Cram Test I I got 128/166 which I am happy with. I also completed LaCharity.Cardio - 24/34, Hematological - 21/28, Neurological - 28/38, Gastro 11/21, Musculoskeletal - 16/22, Gastro - 11/30 (OUCH! I think by this time I was quite burnt out) then again I never do well on GI.
June 17th Study Plan -
- MOCK ATI NCLEX-RN at 800am (160 questions)
- Pharm Review w/ Calculations
- Exam Cram Test II
- GI review
- LaCharity Chpt 13-Part 3

hey Courtney, which of the resources used really help you with the questions?
I think my most useful content was LaCharity, ATI review, and Kaplan strategies. Seriously, if you know how to read the question critically, and narrow down your answers even if you have NO clue what the answer is you will do well. If your school did ATI, I would suggest going through the test taking modules. They were SO helpful. Also, I did about 3,000 questions from graduation to test date (1 month). Nothing can really prepare you for this test just do your best and never doubt your abilities! :) Hope this helps.
