I know what the answer is...but this place has a hard enuff time keeping staff...but I really want to orientate @ the new job ASAP...

Any time that you resign from a job, always give an them an exact date that will be your last day on the job. In 16 years of being a nurse I have never left any facility in bad faith, always gave adequate notice and did whatever the facility required(ie:exit interviews, etc). Never burn bridges in your career as it may come back to haunt you one when there may be a certain position that you really want. I have never left a job or hospital that i would not be eligible for re-hire should i ever decide to return. My resume does and always has spoken for itself, there is no place in the that I would ever apply to that I wouldn't be glad to use it to prove my experience/work backgroud.--Paul:D
