Stars hopefully the medication proves helpful for the murmur and not expensive

Ado my previous cat had a heart murmur

Hi NJ22 and Tweety

Dianah should be in the 50s while we are away but looks like it will rain when we return on Sunday

NRSKaren that's a lot of vet meds, thankfully the cat currently only has 1

Work was good again, got a new case in the afternoon but wasn't a problem, got most of it done before I left.  After work went out to do the grocery shopping and exercised.  Tried some alcohol free gin I had bought in making a Tom Collins, was pretty good although easy to tell it's not real gin

Today should be fairly ordinary, was supposed to be a dinner with the over 50 group but the organizer cancelled due to possible severe weather this evening

Will get up to about 60 today, with rain and storms expected this afternoon and evening

Good morning!

I've had alcohol free beer and wine but never gin.

I have the first of two loads of laundry going, some beans in the pressure cooker for meal prep, went to the grocery store and got gas all before 9:30.  I woke up early as I must have fallen asleep early.  Don't know when because it was one of those book on my chest still in my hands, lights still on situation when I got up sometime in the night.

Still need to do some cooking and go to the gym.  Since yesterday was a rest today today is a chore day.

Here's a 'funny' complaint.....it is going to be 80 degrees today. 🙄 Doesn't Mother Nature know it is not supposed to reach 80 degrees in March?

Today is Nannie's last day at "Cares-A-Lot" so I have to go pick her up around 4-4:30 PM., and she starts the 'new' daycare next week, on M-W+F. Haven't heard yet if Chatty CG is going to do the every Thursday afternoon shift, tho' SiL just texted the answer to my question: "She is supposed to," So, we'll see!

I am not awake enough to feel any urge to dig in on some task here, and that seems to be pretty normal for me! Maybe one of these days I will become filled with energy and go at it.

I may put the new tires for my car on a master card, but I will have to see if the balance available will cover it, first. So much for reducing the amounts of $$$ due on the card. UGH.

Have to clear out of the den for a short while. Momo keeps looking down at her pee-pad and I think she's wanting to do some business, but she won't do it as long as I am sitting here. So, I will go upstairs after I tell her she's a good girl and can go use her pad. Here's hoping she does.

Have to leave earlier than planned, (in 1/2 hour) to go get Nannie, as I have to stop at the pharmacy first for some refills they say are waiting for me. I can write a few bill payments to mail, also, and figure out the auto-withdrawal payments so I can subtract them from the checkbook balance, while I am waiting for the pick-up time to arrive.

Maybe Momo will do her biznezz while I am gone.

Got the stuff from the pharmacy, and also re-stocked the drinks (no, nothing alcoholic) that we zip through every day/week.

I was so hungry that when I was getting the drinks, I saw some cold, peeled, jumbo shrimp and put them in my cart; ate 'em at home while I was putting away the other groceries. I used mashed avocado to dip them in because I don't care for the seafood sauce. They were gooooood!  Now I am not hungry any more!

Found a container of spaghetti with tomato sauce and vegetables, which SiL dropped off while I was out. So, at least I don't have to wonder what to feed Nannie! I got a piece of tiramisu cake to split for our dessert. There's that problem solved!

I reckon the problem of Nannie showing me her colorful jersey top and her light-weight jacket (or her shoes) REPEATEDLY will never be solved. So my way of dealing with it is to say, "Yes, very nice," and "very pretty" until the 19th time (y'know.... the 19th nervous breakdown) when I generally get kind of edgy and say, "Yes. I know. I helped you get dressed in them this morning," and "Yes, you have just shown them to me at least a dozen times." I guess she is proud of the clothes and I KNOW she forgets she has shown them to me so often, but I can REALLY only take so much. Jeesh!
