Ado I can understand feeling that way, a big family but few nearby

Was a pretty good day at work, despite the meeting.  Had time to start laundry before lunch

After work went out with the church group.  Small group, only 6 this time, guess the stormy weather scared people off.  Didn't start storming until I got home, thankfully.  Storms were not that bad here, just a bit of hail and wind.  After the storms passed there was a lot of lightning, made for interesting viewing

Today have grocery shopping after work, will also need to stop at the library

Much colder today,  in the mid 30s, though it will be getting warmer starting tomorrow

71 degrees today! Lots of wind, some showers now and then. I have to run out to pay two bills which are due today and tomorrow. Had to wait 'til my SS check came in, and mailing them would've made them late. Wasn't sure if SiL is coming over today or tomorrow. I texted her, and she just called back and said she'd be over in about 1/2 hour and will get Nannie up when she gets here. YAY! Soooo, I'm leaving now to get bizznezz taken care of.

Hello all!

We made it safely to Lake Havasu and are parked in our allotted space on a big piece of asphalt -- basically it's a parking lot separated into 20X40 foot sections for each camper's space.  We jammed 2-3hr Monday and Tuesday nights, plus a couple hours during the day today and yesterday.  The weather has been beautiful.  The festival is held right on a beach of Lake Mohave, and the views of the water and clouds and craggy mountains in the distance are stunning!

Bands will start up at 10am on Friday and go till 8 or 9:00pm. on Fri-Sat., and till 5pm on Sunday.  I am looking forward to hearing Lorraine Jordan and her band, and The Little Roy and Lizzy Show.  We have had the privilege of jamming twice with the festival organizer and promoter, Danny Stewart.  :). 

That's about all that's on our schedule through Sunday: eat, sleep, pick, or listen!!

Had a good day out. Got my 'last' Covid shot, paid the bills for TV provider and phone provider (not bundled because bundling requires I get a SMAHT phone, and we all know how I DON'T want a smaht phone!) I also got my nails done, went to the post office and the bank. So I get to cross things off that have been lingering in my notebook for weeks!

Nannie isn't very happy with the outfit SiL dressed her in today ? and now, at 5:30 PM, she really wants to change out of it. I told her there was no sense in doing that now, no one will be coming over to see us, and that she can change into a different outfit in the morning.  She thinks that some of the things she has on don't MATCH. Oh well, the sandman doesn't care (and neither do I!). She has curled her lip about her outfit 5 times since I got back. OY! ?

I would make Nannie some supper, except SiL gave her some coffee and cookies a short while ago, so she isn't hungry. 

SiL tried to wash the kitchen floor, but it didn't 'come clean'! She brought some Greased Lightning on-line, but said it didn't help as much as she thought it would. When I used it (when I lived up in the mtns) I would heavily spray the floor, and wait 20 minutes , then wipe the floor with paper towels, and it was clean! Then I'd do a quick water wash so it wouldn't be sticky. I'm not sure how SiL used it; if my attempts don't work, we will call in a professional.

OK I am going to heat some taquitos for myself. I'm now officially addicted, I think.
