Weatherford College Fall 2016 ADN

For anyone applying to the fall 2016 ADN

I heard he's a great teach too that he just gets so wound up in one topic that he gets behind a lot. I'm taking micro this spring while we wait and the only instructor listed was Daniels does anyone know about him? Hopefully this won't be a difficult class

I just took Daniels class. Made an A. His lectures are very dry, but there's no reason to make less than an A if you study. He really cares about what he teaches. He offers lots of "gimme" grades and his tests are straight from his notes. Don't buy the book, I never opened it. Buy the connect access from McGraw-Hill online for $120 and save a ton of money.

Most of the chapters are on my quizlet for Daniels class here https://quizlet.com/join/CKmSHBQHc

Thank you thank you thank you! I sure would have bought the book then been mad when I realized we didn't need it lol but do I even need to buy the access if I have only used one term on McGraw hill for AP 2? Cuz isn't the micro through the same place? I'm gonna try it before I buy the access

Your access for A&P is only for A&P. I'm the McGraw-Hill Student Ambassador for WC. You will need to buy access for the connects. The great thing about Daniels is his lab tests are online and open book. The lecture exams are the only thing you have to study for. I made the quizlets straight off of his notes, but I think there are 2 or 3 chapters not there just because I was too busy. If you read his notes ahead of time, pay attention to his discussion, and study these quizlets, you should make an A easy!

Thank you I appreciate all the help!

Anything I can do to help!

Hi guys!! I will be applying to the ADN fall 2016 class. I live in Fort Worth so no residency points  but I have 27 points without my TEAS. I will be taking my TEAS hopefully before the end of the year so I can get a feel for it. I am also applying to TCC, UTA, and possibly Waco (Mclennan). Not sure yet because it is an hour and 30 minute drive. Good luck to everyone.

I bet you'll be fine! Residency is only 1 or 2 points depending on the county.

Thanks Sparrow! I hope so. I feel like I need to make an 80 on my TEAS to get 5 more point to have a chance at acceptance. I'm very nervous. I haven't taken a math class since graduating high school and that was 10 years ago. I suck at math so bad!! I'm sooooo nervous!

I haven't had math since 1995 when I graduated High School and I did very well on the math part. Brush up on factoring polynomials and roman numerals and you should be fine. I didn't even study much at all for the TEAS and got an 87. I did a few online practice tests and that was it.

Can you post some of the links for the online practice test? Thats a great grade! I hope I can do as well as you. I'm horrible at factoring. Thankfully I have time to study and try and get it done. Thanks!
