Hello!

I just had a question to any WCJC LVN to RN transition students who have gone through or are currently in the transition program. I just got into the program which begins May but I was wondering what the schedule is supposed to be like? I tried calling today and asking when orientation is going to be so I can ask the necessary questions but the secretary just kind of gave me a round about answer.

Also how is the program? Is there certain things I need to start studying for now, or buying any books now that will make the summer semester easy on me.

I just wanted to say hello. I too am starting the lvn to rn trasition program in May 2016. I look forward to meeting both HouNurse and Faiweh08. I have tried reaching out to people on facebook that appear to be or were in the Wharton lvn to rn trasition program but that has not been working out. I guess we all have to wait and see. I personally have been buying various rn nclex review books to study for the nclex while in the program. I have heard it is good to practice answer at leat 5000 questions. As far as the background check is concerned, I got the blue post card in the mai and it is my assumtion I do not need to do anthing else in regards to a background check. Do you know if this is the case?

Faiweh08 did you put the underscores between twilight_years and years_stolen? What is your email address maybe I can try emailing you?

So I did call the school last week asking about orientation and apparently the director of the program still hasn't picked a date yet for orientation. Until a date is picked she can't send us any email. School starts in about two months and they still don't have anything together.

Nursesixteen I look forward to meeting you too. As for the blue post card, i think that is all that needs to be done but i am not 100% sure.

I got accepted into the program also. I can't wait to start. Hopefully they will get all the dates together soon.

Hi to you all, I am currently reviewing for my TEAS V test for WCJC I wanted to enrol this spring but they told me they only offer it at main campus which is at wharton and too far from my house. Can you guys tell me how competetive is it to get in the actual program? how high is your GPA and TEAS V score? I just want a reference to how far do I need to study and get a high grade for the teas v test. PLEASE RESPOND! highlyhighlu appreciate if you will
