hello my friend just talked to to the nursing department, they do have meeting coming up there is a flyer going around with the dates, also it is a a lot different now it cost 5 dollars to attend the meetings and the max to attend is 100, also you mush register for the meetings online like you would a class. I would try going on to web gate and looking it up. Good luck!!
They do not charge for info meeting. I just went to the one last week. There were over 200 people there. SO that's over 100. and we didn't have to pay. Why should we have to pay for information about a program for a school we pay a **** ton of money to to attend a meeting. Whoever told you that is just plain stupid.

Sadly, Becdann is right: starting soon, there will be a $5 fee (cover charge, if you will) to attend an information meeting, and you now have to register before-hand. The paper Becdann referred to reads "This is being done in effort to control the vast number of students who overcrowd the meetings and cut down on the large numbers of accompanying visitors to the meetings that take up most of the available seating." Further down, it reads "Every student must show a marked paid registration slip at the door" in order to get in.
The dates for the meetings, as per the sheet I have, are (with CRN numbers):
February 3rd. (31073)
March 10th. (31074)
April 1st. (31075)
May 13th. (31076)
I can scan the paper, if anyone wants to see it. :)
I actually think that is a great idea! At the meeting I attended, there were so many 'friends' and noisy kids, that I couldn't hear half of the things the soft-spoken presenter said. It was so frustrating! Phones kept ringing, people would walk out to take the call (after answering it in the room), and slam the door, people were chit-chatting... it was awful.
I am glad they are taking steps to make it a better experience.

Hello everyone!
Does anyone know the schedule, perhaps through Spring 2010, for upcoming WCCCD nursing information sessions? (I can't seem to find this information the school's website.)
Thanks in advance!
