Starting a thread for wayne state CRNA 2026 🙂

I just had my interview. I got there early and a student showed me around. He showed me all the classrooms and the sim lab and answered my questions. He was very nice and reassuring. The actual interview was with 3 people. They were very friendly. It was mostly a "get to know you" vibe. There weren't any clinical questions, just a few emotional intelligence type questions and wanting to know why you're interested in anesthesia and what you've done to prepare.  Good luck to everyone who's interviewing and I hope this helps ease some of the nervousness!

Do u think for "tell us about yourself" I should include why CRNA?

Did anyone who had an interview get any type of Feed back from the interview panel? What ques did you have that the interview went well?

Hi everyone, just finding this feed. I had my interview Wednesday 8/27 and it was very straightforward. It was all "personality" get to know you type questions. Only about 15-20mins. 

Third-Year students are there to greet you at the door and they give you a brief tour.

I was just notified that I was chosen as an "alternate". Pretty upset as I don't know how much better the interview could've gone. I don't even know what to expect as an alternate. The reality is that it's just super competitive this year. Congrats to everyone receiving the good news today.

I was notified that I didn't get accepted, no alternate either. I thought the interview went really well but I guess it's true that it's just very competitive. Congrats to everyone who got good news! Hopefully I'll get in with another program 🙏🏻

I got my denial email as well. I wish I knew what I was missing or doing wrong. I thought the interview went really well. This will be my second interview and second denial this year. 

Great job to everyone who is making the cut! If you have any insight I will take it.

Got denied too. Alternated don't be discouraged some people may not take it
