Just wanted to start a thread where students (previous, current, and future) from the nursing program at Wayland can vent, talk, ask and share ideas and questions. Maybe it can make life easier and less stressful. So share and ask so we can help each other get through school and life somewhat stress-free!!
alleviate* not elevate darn autocorrect lolHas anyone heard anything for Fall 2013?
Cheriealexa8 anything?
Couldn't sleep last night I'm ready to start!! I wish they did email acceptance like SAC does, instead of snail mail.
I haven't I've been checking the mail everyday. I'm driving myself nuts, lol.
Did you see that they took out 5 pre req's & added 4, 3 of which are biology classes.
They took out foreign language, chem (really u don't need chem at all) stats (one less math), sociology & one of the lit classes.
They added research writing, nutrition, medical terminology & pathophysiology.
I always wondered why they asked for so many English classes but to take out foreign language & chem is crazy.

Yeah, my advisor told me its because they don't feel that students are going into the program prepared. I think the English classes are ridiculous. I'm taking American literature right now... I took general chemistry and organic chemistry. I took all of the classes for uthscsa, I was going to apply there. I'm glad that I took all those classes. I learned so much.

Or maybe someone has questions about the school and programs. I was originally going to transfer to UTHSCSA from ACCD but this program has less applicants and closer to home. If I would have known about this school sooner I would have not taken classes I took for UTHSCSA that I didn't need for WBU.
