Wanted to see who else is going to Watts (Mt Olive) starting in June. I just got my acceptance letter today! Wondering who my fellow classmates will be!

Hey Jeep!! Have you gotten started on your paper for psych yet? I'm still working on my English paper....haven't even decided on a topic for psych yet. Ouch!!!! I'm weeded!!!

Yeah, i'm working on the English too... i'm kinda worried about the grammar exam deal... haven't started the psychology paper yet... trying to find a decent topic but it look like it's just going to end up being me picking somebody and writing a paper on them

yup...me too. I was thinking of doing Freud only because I think he's a whack job and it would be interesting to see how twisted his mind really was. I'm going to look at some of the other people in the front of our psych book too and see if there's anybody worth investigating. Why are you worried about the grammar test? Did you do bad on that sheet she handed out to us to practice on?

Hang in there guys. I feel for ya, having english on top of psych - that's tough.

Have you had to do citations in english?

Man, that's confusing...when to capitalize, when to use quotes and italics, one or two

spaces after a period.........arrggh!

yeah... thinking about Pavlov for my paper... i guess as soon as i finish my english paper i'll start my other...

Hey chicka!! Yes it stinks!!! Although, I did find a place in my word program that allows me to "cite" something and it prompts me for all the info and then it puts it in the right format (MLA, APA) which is totally helpful

What software are you using and where did you find that nifty little helper for citing?????

I'm at the gym right now. When I get home, I'll look at my Word and let you know where it's at. I think it's under the insert tab but I'm not sure....

ok so here ya go.....go into word doc, go to references, under citations and bibliography change the style to APA and then click on insert citation. It will open another window and you just fill in all the information. As long as you have your cursor on your paper where you want the cite, then it will put it inyour paper in the correct format. It has different selections for book, website, periodical, etc. If you can't figure it out...let me know and I"ll bring my computer to class on Thursday.
