Hey Coach, there is a large group of us that have formed a pre-nursing blob so to speak. There are still the unreached folks in our class that we're trying to get out of their shells. Me personally, I would rather be in the blob. You probably did alright on the test, I think that most of us passed it on the first try. But, I will for-warn you, not everyone that passed the test got accepted into the program. We're all trying to figure that one out. We don't know if it was the essay that they look at heavily or who knows what else, but "they" are more selective than one would be led to believe.

Keyna----did you get your watch. And if you did, can you dive to the bottom of the Laurentin Abysmal with it.

That would be most helpful in finding a patient lost within the deeeeep.

I don't think you can reschedule until you have your results.....Almost positive that I asked that when I first took it!!!!

That's good to know Tarhealer. I see that everyone really worried for a long time about getting in. Not to be sappy in the essay seems to be the important piece. I am definitely a mess about this exam. The thought of having to take it again is frightening. I worried too much about the math as well. The vocab and spatials were a breeze. The reading comp was ridiculous. I could no longer concentrate. Thank you for your feedback. It helps.

Hey Tar,

Do you know someone who didn't get in? I assumed if you passed the test and didn't have a criminal record you were good to go. Guess I was wrong. So I really is smart????? :eek:

Yes you is smart RumGirl! :) I had to call every day to get in to take the test the first time. I just called and all of November is booked. However, they are giving the tests on the 7-9th and I might not even have my results yet.

Coach, good to meet ya! And it sounds like you did pretty good, I think the main thing they look at is quality, not quantity. I know I didn't finish much more than half of the math and only 2, part of 3 sections of the reading, I thought there were more than three? And passed on the first go round. When you hear that you've passed make sure you have good references, I think that has quite a bit of bearing on it, and of course the essay. See if you can get close with some nurses (if you haven't already) esp if you've worked with them in any capacity. Luckily I work at a school so I've worked with school nurses. I also had my direct supervisor fill one out.

As far as our little "blob", I think your group will be what you make of it, luckily we have some, how do we say this nicely, outgoing? people in our group that have made it easy to get comfortable with each other. :jester:

Rum..... No, not everyone who passes the test gets in, I have a couple of friends that passed the test and didn't get in and still some more that didn't pass the test. We must be the cream of the crop, haha

Jeep, still no grades????? This is unacceptable! I'm sure you have an A, she just wants us to be spazzin?
