Wanted to see who else is going to Watts (Mt Olive) starting in June. I just got my acceptance letter today! Wondering who my fellow classmates will be!

The old ISBN on the book list didn't have the modules...the new book does have modules.

Did you start out with the right one???

So, do we have summers off once we start at watts? Looks like we get a pretty good

break around the holidays, too.

I heard somewhere that some students work as CNA's during the summer for extra money. It sounds to me like we will get summers off.

There's also the option of working at Duke doing an externship over the summer and they pay you decent money. It allows you to work in different areas so you can see what you like or you can choose to work in one area if you already know. If you go on Duke's website you can find all the information about it there......Once we're in Watts, we run a traditional college school year.

For those who are taking all the credits is there anyway you can send me a list of all the books and isbn's? I've misplaced mine :(

Also did anyone take out the stafford loan offered through the fasfa application? If so is your information updating in the self service tab on the website?

My info on the loan is on my self-serve but the status shows "N". Not sure what that means. I have the book list but I wrote all over it. PM me tour e-mail and I can try to scan it and send it to you.

TIB- i definitely think i'll be trying the externship or CNA work... money and experience... both i really need! i might try and volunteer during school if we're not too busy...

I volunteer at Wakemed right now and I love it. If we do the tuition reimbursement it would probably make sense to go to Duke or Durham Regional. I would love to actually get paid. But I may have to take my summers off to spend some make-up time with my family. They might start feeling neglected by then.

TIB~ you're probably looking at 2011 on the financial aid. Look to the left, there's a tab, click on it and you can change it to 2010. That'll give you the info for summer at MOC

TIB- so they do tuition reimbursement for volunteering too?
