Watts School of Nursing June

Wanted to see who else is going to Watts (Mt Olive) starting in June. I just got my acceptance letter today! Wondering who my fellow classmates will be!

Don't know, I just remember him saying that he didn't write the first syllabus and to use his, then he added that MLA was fine....There was never any mention of the other style, actually yes there was. I was mentioning the fact that we now had to learn to write in three styles and how stupid that was. Thats when he mentioned MLA. I wrote mine in that style so if I'm wrong I'll get trashed too.

I just wrote professor J and asked him to clarify. Hopefully he'll get back to me quickly.

In the meantime if anybody else knows for sure, please tell all. I really don't want to get this wrong.

GC - you have to see what you were charged for tuition and divide by the number of credits you have for fall (ex. $5000 / 13 credits) ... you can find your tuition cost in self service

in regards to which format for essays ...

i emailed:

what, if any, format would you like the essay to be in? would it be acceptable to just put name, exam number, and essay question/topic at the top?

and he responded:

the format you suggest is fine -- there is no need for a "title page" for example. the only technical point you should remember is that if you use information from a source (such as your test) you will need to "cite" the sources by page number (preferablly in the mla "in-text" form) and include a "works cited" page (even if you only use one source).

Seriously...you know I was kidding right. Those cookies have an excellent quality for all to share. Yeah it would be such a travesty to thine fellow mankindians to deny such a moistus deliciousness such as thou cookies can only bring. And though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil for thine doth have such said cookies of peanut buttery goodness filling my gullett with ever lasting yumminess.

Hey, what's the deal with the study group thingy?? Are you guys gonna do it in Durham? That's just so far for me to drive. Let me know what everybody decides.

Oh and by the way....if I write a bunch of non-sense tomorrow, just ignore me! It'll be the meds kicking in!!

I'm willing to offer up my house for study time too. I'll even supply the food! I live kind of far from most of you though so I'm not sure how everybody would feel about that. I live basically in Holly Springs. Let me know.
