Watts School of Nursing June

Published

Wanted to see who else is going to Watts (Mt Olive) starting in June. I just got my acceptance letter today! Wondering who my fellow classmates will be!

Feeling pretty good today although I had to work this morning. I can't say the same for my husband though. He's getting too old to party :)

And I totally cannot complain about the commute. It's 7 minutes... in traffic.

Hey, GC, are you a fellow Dur-hamonian? It takes me like 15 to 17 mins.

how about us raleigh folks??? man, we always get left out... i had some beers last night... 3, and they hurt!

Add food, Jeep, that always helps!

You're in Raleigh? I thought you were in Durham for some reason. i think it's the way you described your surrounding neighborhood - sounded like Durham.

Hello, Wattsstudent!

Are you a Watts student already or in your prereqs?

keyna, I am a Durham-ite! Not a native but have lived here basically for 4 years with a short stint in TN. I'm on the northern side of town. Are you out by southpoint and all that?

GC,

Howdy, fellow Durhamite! We've been here 7 years, and we're out towards Brier Creek.

So I'm at a complete loss for what to write a paper on. I have not written a five page paper um ever. I wish he had given us something more specific than to write a paper and hand it in.

Raleigh,

Could you use your topic from your pamphlet and expand it?? At least

you wouldn't be starting from scratch.

Write about something you know. Anything in life is covered by the lifespan and then how would you link it to your nursing career. I have worked with disabilities for a lot of years, so I wrote about that from birth through adulthood and how nursing plays a big part in that. Hope this helps.

lol... kenya... i'm not from Durham!!!! geez! lol...

wait, we have a paper due????
