Hi Nurses,

Anybody has an interview scheduled for this month? Any of you got into the February program? If yes please share your experiences.

Depending on how soon you submit your endorsement license and where you live it can take anywhere from a week to over a month It took over a month to get endorsed because I live in Virginia. Just keep in mind you can ask for a temporary license as soon as your federal background check gets cleared.

I was told today that the background check might take three weeks.

The Federal one is quick My federal was back in a week What took so long was the state background check It just so happens Virginia requires you to mail a notarized form to Florida, Florida sends it to Virginia, Virginia sends it back to Florida and Florida sends it to DC... All that to prove I'm not an axe murderer

No I was endorsing form Virginia! That's the ridiculous part! I guess the service that DC uses is in Florida I spent $50 to mail the notarized paper to Florida in an attempt to get it done faster It didn't I had to go the the DC BON 4 times just to make sure it got done I applied for endorsement on the 7th of February and didn't get my full license until March 20th I had to get a temporary license just to start working.

I applied early march and haven't heard anything yet;my DC license arrived last week(had va).Still waiting for a call.Endorsement takes approx 2-3 wks

I was told that the application had to be in their system for 10 days in order to be eligible for a temp. license. Is it 10 days from the day that it was entered in the computer or 10 days after the background check was received?

See I was told that as soon as your federal background check was cleared you could get a temporary license not just 10 days after you submit your application.

I interviewed with WHC but took a job with GWHU.

congrats on your new job! The fingerprint site told me that they were having problem submitting prints. I am not sure if my prints have be submitted yet. It has been two weeks since I was fingerprinted and every time I call I cannot seem to get a straight answer. They act as if I was bothering them.

Thank you! Trouble submitting the fingerprints... Ugh I would call and actually bother them I called DC BON once a week until I got my temp license The fingerprinting place has a retail store on Duke Street in Alexandria if you can't get answers I would go in if you can.

I was just told that I had to get re-fingerprinted. It sucks!!

I should have listened to my husband who told me to go to the BON after my interview. I am going tomorrow morning. How long did it takes for your background check to come back?

The Federal check came in a week after that they approved my temporary license and then it took another 4 weeks for my Virginia background check to finish and get my full license

I just got re-fingerprinted. I will check with them next week to see if the results are in.
