simple internet search will lead you to this:
-they require TOEFL (and I can't remember if my friend took TOEFL or not)
-you need a CGFNS Credential Evaluation Service
-some sort of AIDS training
anyways, you can check this out:

I just reviewed the requirements for WA.
you have to pass the TOEFL first. then they need the CGFNS (*not the test, just the evaluation).
those 2 are needed before they'll give you the eligibility to take the exam.
but I don't think WA's a good choice for foreign graduates, they require SSN like in cali.

No, I am already an RN here and I am not based in WA.
During my time (2008-2009), the popular destination for RN licensure is New Mexico because they are not as strict with the other states. My initial license was in Oregon, they have a lot of requirements but they are all attainable. Back then they require a SSN but will let you pursue the application as long as you sign a waiver stating you will provide the SSN as soon as you have one. IELTS is required but they will let you go without it if you provide a letter from your school certifying that English is the medium of instruction. I took IELTS, though. And I recommend taking English exams because it will open a lot opportunities for you (Canada, Australia, New Zealand, etc = IELTS is preferred and sometimes required for these countries). But again, that was back in 2008. A lot may have changed since then.
Good luck.
oh. I actually applied for cali and and still waiting for an eligibility. (*been through submission of clinical cases as well)
But since there have been cases of ineligibility to take the NCLEX recently (*due to tightened concurrent-theory policy in CALI)..
I guess it's much better to except for the worst and do some back up plans. I'll try WA or Oregon.
I do have my SSN already. thanks for the tips anyway. :)
@stacey05 did they denied you already? uh oh.

i asked WA about this problem and they said they dont mind the concurrency.
@anne919 wow. that's a good news!. thanks for the info. It lessen my worries. :) thank you.
btw. is there anybody here knows where to take the the AIDS classes?
and should I take the toefl first or apply for cgfns before submitting application? or
submit the application then the BON-WA is the one who will tell you when to take the cgfns/toefl?
that's all I need to know. thanks!
