hello there,
I am a 28 year old lvn residing in los angeles, ca. I took up an lvn course 3 years ago, took and passed the nclex about a year after, but i decided to pursue a career music, in which at the time seemed like a great opportunity. Now, i feel like that chapter of my life is about to end, and want to start looking into nursing again. Aside from music, it is the only thing im actually interested in, except now, theres a two year gap since ive done anything nursing related. i was wondering if anyone had any advice on where i should start to get back in touch with nursing?

I don't have any advice for you but wanted you to know I am in a similar situation as you. I got my RN license and worked maybe 4 months. I have had some horrible health problems and haven't worked in two years. I have no idea how to get back into it. So you are not alone!

hello, I can greatly identify with you. I was a practicing nurse in the Philippines when I decided to do a career in music overseas. The only difference between us is that I stayed longer in the music industry ( close to 6 years) and now have decided to to go back to nursing and put music aside ( maybe doing it as a part time job in the future). I am currently looking forward to a re-entry program in nursing to kick-start nursing practice.
