Hi there. I’m wanting opinions on moving to Dothan,AL. I currently reside in Marion,IL. I worked as a CNA from 07-11, LPN from 11-15 and I have been working as an RN since 2015. I’ve mainly worked Med/Surg and ortho. Spent the last year in IMCU and have floated a lot to ICU and ER. I’m wanting to work at Flowers hospital in Dothan,AL. Wondering what the salary is like and culture. Also cost of living. I currently pay $800 a month for my new apartment here and make about $42/hr weekend option on nights. Also how is the weather year round in Dothan. I have awful sinus issues and need a place that has more stable, warm temps. Thank you in advance! -Megan

I don't know too much about Alabama, except it can be quite humid. I'm wondering if a drier climate might not be better for your sinuses?

I wasn’t wanting to go anywhere else. But perhaps you are right! I’ll check into some other states and see what I like. Thank you for replying!
