Hi everybody. I am about to finish my LPN program in less than 8 weeks and I am excited! I want to get a jump on studying for the NCLEX. At school we are we are doing Kaplan which for me personally it doesn't work for me and I'm worried I'll fail the NCLEX. So my question is what would yall recommend for me to start? Thanks

Know your weak areas. What works for one person won't necessarily work for you. For the nclex it is not all about knowing the content ( but u MUST know it) it is also about knowing how to answer the questions. The questions on the nclex is not quite like what u did in nursing school. I would suggest getting the kaplan strategies book but with that being said understand that the kaplan decision tree does not work for every question so don't heavily rely on that it can mess you up. Find a great content book that is easy for you to understand and not so boring for you to read. I find that books that are too bland tend to make you lose focus then later u will not remember anything u read. Again...remember what study material that was great for someone else doesn't mean it will be great for you. Good luck on passing the NCLEX!!😊
