It is good that you have time to make your decision. I hope you will research it well and not buy into myths supplied by immigration and recruiters. Research facts on gangs, housing costs and quality, pay in relation to housing costs, methamphetamine use, child poverty, education and other issues. I will ask you to read all this yourself, so as not to paint the picture for you.

NZ is not a Pacific Island Utopia. There are real problems here too. Nurses are in high demand here and there is a reason for that: pay is low and working conditions are not the greatest (especially for immigrants). BIGGEST ADVICE, make sure you come here with only what you need and keep enough money is the UK to get out of here and support yourself for a while should you decide to leave. The NZ dollar has dropped and life is very, very expensive here.

Best of luck in school.

hiya thank you for the reply, i am researching NZ properly and will carry on doing so till the time comes when i need to decide,, i am aware that the pay is less than here and that no matter where i live there will still be the problems you have pointed out thanks x
