I applied for the Spring semester also. I calculated that I should have 41 points. I saw where the orientation is November 10th. My coworker just started nursing school this fall at Wallace. She said that they usually don't mail out acceptance letters until about a week before orientation. Also if you check the Wallace State Nursing Facebook page, they will post on there when they mail out the letters. She also said that the cut off for points is usually 30. She said that the deadline may have been extended because there were not enough applicants.
I am stressing out. I HAVE to get my plan together soon. Working two jobs, three kids (one with special needs), husband with demanding job schedule...I HAVE TO PLAN AHEAD!!! *twitches*
I know I'm not alone in this. I am not totally sure about my points, but I think it's around 40? My old classes are too old to count for "points", but I had a really good ACT score. Hoping that carries me. Gah! I just need to know already!
Are y'all applying to do hybrid or classroom? And will you be brand new nursing students, or are you LPN's doing the mobility program? I'm an LPN, hopefully doing hybrid.
Oh, if this is your first run through nursing school, then I would definitely recommend traditional classroom. I think hybrid is easier when you've been a nurse for a while and you are moving to a higher level of nursing, but for a brand-new student, I think it would be incredibly overwhelming.

I'm am new to this group. Are there any students that have applied to Wallace state spring 2016 or any students that are in the nursing program. If so what are the chances getting in with 31 points total? Please respond. Thanks
