Walking Pneumonia or CAP do you still go to work?

Do we call it HAP since we work in the hospital. Been off and on sick since September. Oldest is in Kindergarten and thought nothing could top the Pre-K plague of January last year. Life decided to say hold my root beer.

Being tested for CAP at the moment (waiting on CXR results). Guess my lung sounds are diminished. My PCP and a NP Student had to double check my lungs concluded that there is not much air moving around in my lungs.

Now I am on Levaquin and AirSupra at the moment.

It has been about 12 days since my last round of antibiotics. My dry hacking cough has been going on for 3 to 4 weeks.

Anyone gone to work with CAP? Can I work with CAP? Not sure yet if CAP still waiting for CXR results.

I would say if you are febrile, feel like crap, can't breathe and have a hacking cough you should not be at work.
