Wake Technical Community College (Wake Tech) Fall 2024

Anyone else apply for Fall 2024 admission to Wake Tech? It seems there is one of these posts for every semester so I figured we can wait in misery together until April/May. How many points did everyone end up with? 

No!! I'm so tempted to call, but I'll probably just get a vague response. I saw a Reddit thread that they got acceptance letters April 21st last year. 😑 No rumblings on campus?

Does anyone know if one program is better than the other between wake tech and JCC?

I honestly don't know anything about JCC. Wake was the only school I applied to because I didn't meet the requirements other places.

Hey, I got accepted as an alternate too, hopefully we both get in! fingers crossed.

I read somewhere that you can call and ask what your placement is on the alternate list. I also saw somewhere that they accepted upwards of 30people one year off an alternate list. I'm not sure how accurate this is, but you can probably ask what their averages are of how many people they take. There is def still good chance you could start in the fall!

yes, I made a virtual appointment with someone in advising for next week so they could talk with me about my placement and things. I have hope I can still be able to have a seat after reading a lot of the people that were accepted at Wake tech and JCC some say there were going to go ahead and attend JCC because it's closer to their home. thank you for the info.
