What Members Are Saying (AI-Generated Summary)

Members are discussing their applications to the ADN program at Wake Tech CC for fall 2025 entry. They are sharing their GPAs, TEAS scores, points earned in prerequisite classes, and anxiously waiting to hear back about acceptance. Some members are concerned about being waitlisted due to lower points, while others are speculating on the timeline for decisions and the potential for acceptance with lower points as the program size increases.

I just submitted my application for the ADN program at Wake Tech CC. The deadline to apply is today and I am guessing we will find out sometime in April. Just looking to connect with others that have applied!

No 😭 I'm really hoping for sometime this week. I know several other health sciences programs have heard. Not sure what's taking so long!

Ugh Ik I keep checking my email everyday. How many points did you have.

I have 131 points. I'm currently in BIO 175 so I don't have points for that class. I've been checking every day too. 🤞🤞🤞

I'm not sure what's taking so long, but does anyone know if now that the semester is over and our final grades are in Self-Service, those grades will be counted toward the Fall 2025 nursing program application?

From my understanding, the delay is due to them increasing the size of the program, they are still working out details of faculty, clinical instructors, how many students each program will get (LPN, LPN-RN, and RN), classroom space, etc. I don't think fhey will be using classes we just completed as part of our points. They probably have everyone ranked already while they're sorting out these details. Hopefully next week. With finals this week, pinning today, graduation tomorrow, I didn't expect to hear anything this week.

When do decisions come out

Two more weeks notices will be sent

Yes I just emailed them and they said couple more weeks since they are increasing the size do you guys think they will accept people with lower points. I wonder what the range is going to be. Or will there be more students.

Not sure what the cutoff will be since they will accept more students but I'm guessing all the other programs like durham tech, Johnston, central, vance/Granville have all sent out notices so people will likely accept there since wake tech hasn't sent decisions. By the time they do, they'll have a good number declining spots which should make the wait list move a little faster. If you have lower points you might be waitlisted and then pulled off, but if could be a week before class starts. Who knows!

I ended up getting in. anyone else?

Yes! I got accepted! See you at orientation!
