Wake Forest CRNA to start Fall 2021

Hello everyone! For those that have applied to Wake Forest’s early application this year for Fall 2021 start time, did anyone get invitations to interview in April???

Hi @kampersand and @hamiltons12, they sent me my decision letter on June 26th! Did you guys end up hearing anything after you posted?

@MICUnurse14 I still haven't heard anything. I applied a few weeks ago and the deadline for this application period is tomorrow and the interviews would be in November per their website. I'm dying to know if I at least get an interview!

@kampersand, sorry I just saw your response! I got an email from Wake about a decision that had been made, with a link that redirected me to the application portal for my official decision. I was accepted, and I deposited with them. I am excited to start! (:

@megrn10, per WF's website, it looks like the H3A in October is "designed for ICU nurses who want to learn more about nurse anesthesia and who are in the process of applying to a nurse anesthesia program." I personally will not be attending this one, but when they offer their H3A for onboarding SRNA's, I will definitely go! Are you doing the one in October?

@MICUnurse14 congratulations!! That's awesome. Did they tell you whether it was for the MSN or DNP cohort? I know they had said during interviews that they were doing both this round.

@kampersand, We had to fill out a form that stated our preference. We had to choose whether we would only accept a seat for the Master's, the DNP or would take a seat in either program. My preference was the Master's, and I have not heard anything yet as to whether or not I  have been placed in that cohort versus the DNP. I believe they said they will start reaching back out in January with more information! So now I am just hanging tight.
