Hi Everybody,
Well I was on the waitlist for Statistics and Microbiology. I got in Statistics but I am still #7 on waitlist for Microbiology. Classes start March 30th. Should I just go to class on Monday and see if the Professor will let me in or should I take an elective class needed for BSN?
This happen last quarter with Biology I had to go to class to see if I could get into class and luckily I got it. From what I understand the science prerequisites often have waitlists. It is just so nerve wrecking to have to wait and see if I am going to get in or not.
If take another elective I will have to go to the class on Monday instead of going to Microbiology and having the opportunity to be added to class.I know I am being so anal about this but I don't know what to do. I was thinking about taking Public Speaking. But I really want to get into Microbiology. I told financial aid I would take 10 credits this quarter and I think there is penalty if I don't. Because I thought maybe I would just take Statistics by itself but it seems like a waste of time not to take 10 credits.
I think I just needed to vent and let out my frustration. But any suggestions are welcome.

I would go to class on Monday and see if you get in. If you don't get in, then consider taking an online version of the course from another school and transferring it in, as you can't guarantee that you will get it next term either.

Go to class to see if the professor will let you in. Just realize they may not allow to let you in due to limited lab space. That happened to me first time I tried to get in A&P. plenty of room in lecture hall but none in lab. If you have to take an online course, make sure it is accredited or talk To an advisor regarding schools from which they will accept transfer credits.
Well so far it sounds like I should definitely go to class but think about taking a class online.
