Waiting on NSU Acceptance for Fall 2010

Hi everyone,

Just wanted to know if anyone has heard any updates for Acceptance into NOVA (NSU) for Fall 2010? I applied for their entry level BSN program and have been waiting to hear from them since March. I also intend on applying to the BHS Scholars Program as well. Someone help out with any updates or just information? Thanks in advance!! :nurse:

Hey!

I got accepted for the entry level BSN starting Fall 2010. It's been a long and dreading process, I've heard of 4-5 people getting accepted so far.

Thanks for your reply and CONGRATULATIONS on your acceptance. What an awesome accomplishment! While I was reading the thread you suggested, I understand that you were contacted via e-mail when they first informed you of your acceptance into the program, correct? If so, which email? Your personal one that you provided them with or a NOVA e-mail? I am so anxious!!

Thank you!

I first received an e-mail saying: Congratulations on your acceptance, and that in the upcoming weeks i will receive the official letter...etc. I immediately checked my VIP page, and it also said I had been accepted.

The school contacted me at the email i provided them with when i first applied 4 months prior. I hope you hear good news soon! let me know how it goes.

Hey Marcy!

I received my acceptance e-mail yesterday morning!! The long wait is finally over and now the real fun and adventures begin!!! I am so excited, thanks for your advices. I'll see you in Fall 2010 :)

Wow congrats!!!! Im so excited for you and for me! (lol) its nice to have met someone with whom I'll be sharing this experience with. Did you get accepted for the Main Campus?

I am so excited for us both as well!! What an accomplishment! I did get accepted for the Main Campus but I am also applying for the Baptist Scholars Program so I know my classes will be held in the Kendall Campus except for one Anatomy lab our first semester which is in the Main Campus.

I have already logged into my SharkLink account and it seems that I have to turn paperwork for Financial Aid purposes. (3 documents in total) Do you know what else they may need from me? Thanks again for all your help Marcy!! :)

Yes, Im applying to baptist as well.

For fin aid: you need NSU state Aid Application, FAFSA & Loan Authorization Form.

Once you recieve your packet, you will find baptist scholars appliaction (send it as soon as possible). You will also find a form for FL residency and will have to provide all supporting documents. They will tell you to check out the orientation page, for background checks, physcical form and Immunizations, Lab coat orders, and a few more. (phew!) lol.

You are just far too kind! :) How long after you got the Acceptance e-mail from NSU, did you receive the packet in the mail? I checked out the Orientation Information page and wow it IS a lot of things we have to get on to. Do you have any idea when our Orientation will be? I am so excited and I really must get a move on with all this paperwork!!!! Thank you sooooo much!!

Anytime! trust me, I had so many questions and wish I had someone to ask, I called the school endless times and never really got and answer on things until the new adviser came on board. Orientation date is still not decided since not everyone has been admitted, and I think we'll find out via email, as well as background check program code.

The packet came in about a week after via regular mail. :cool: I was checking my mail twice a day. My long wait this last 4 months payed off.

I was just like you, calling the school 3 times a week and I always received the same answer "Still being reviewed. You should hear from them by next week." I can't wait till next week to receive the packet! I've taken initiative to print a lot of the forms, even the decal one!! lol yes, the months of waiting were SOOOO worth the wait! :)

Congratulations Marcy and Pinknurse on getting accepted to Nova! I just got accepted as well a couple weeks ago and I've got my Baptist interview coming up. WOO! How did it go for both of you? Wish me luck.. I am so excited for all of us! :)
