I've heard from some people that they've already gotten their acceptances to JHU. Does anyone know the timeline for letters? I heard it depends highly on the specialty track you applied to. Thanks!

Hi,
I am in the same boat and I was concerned that I hadn't heard yet. I contacted someone in JHU admissions about 2 weeks ago, and they said that my application was ready for review but that the admissions committee didn't meet again til the end of January. So it sounds like they don't make decisions all at once, and that admissions meets several times and sends out a round of decisions after each meeting? This made sense to me because I didn't have my phone interview for the BSN/MSN program til the end of December, so I might have missed the first round of decisions. Best of luck to you!
I actually got a phone call today from JHU letting me know that I got in! I'm super excited! It was the best voicemail I've ever received! They wanted to make sure I was able to participate in an online chat for accepted students so they called ahead of my letter. Hope you hear from JHU soon!
I got the same voicemail today-What a relief! Congrats!

Winnie & Cheakee,
Did both/either of you apply to the Combined BSN/MSN program? After reading more in depth I'm interested in the fact that they claim you can take a break after you complete the BSN portion and complete the MSN upon returning (allows someone to work for a year and save up some $$$), and the fact that you don't have to list your specialty of choice on your app, giving you a bit of leeway to see which area you prefer. Both of these options are quite attractive. I've only applied to UCLA for this Fall, and if I'm not accepted I'm definitely adding JHU to my list for Fall 08' apps.
I'm guessing from your elated reactions that you both intend to accept their offers? Congratulations either way, its an exceptional school and I'm very excited for you! :)
