waiting (im)patiently....

So, I know it's about 3 weeks in... but I am DYING!!!!

How long did it take for you to receive "the letter" after applying?

good luck guys!!! :)

I put all my eggs in one basket, as it's the only LPN course in the province!

I know I am probably checking too soon... but anyone else check the mailbox daily, in case by fluke you get that letter super soon?? !!

Yes! I am guilty of that too! :imbar Even worse, the Universities I applied to also have online posting of one's application status, so I usually end up checking that too! Just call me desperate! :behindpc: :typing

This is what I worry about. I have all my prereqs done, so I basically have nothing to do while I wait....so I got a CNA position to kill time and get back on the floor. Anyway, if I don't get in, what should I do? Go ahead and try for an ADN program instead, or take MORE prereq classes in order to apply to even MORE BSN programs? Every school around here has different prereqs!:angryfire

Congrats Matt!! Way to go!!

Aussie... I would say relax... and let's see what the letter says first!! No need to stress out yet!! lol

i was given a vague answer from my two schools as to when acceptance letters would be mailed out... in fact, one of the schools didn't mail out their acceptance letters last year until a few weeks before the program start - they said that they were held up by waiting for the results from applicants' background checks. i got my stuff in nice and early, before the jan 15 deadline, so i hope that is not the case with me!

anyway, i am also awaiting letters, and although i might say i haven't gotten too anxious yet, i still go straight to the mail every day when i get home from work (or wherever i was).

here's to lots of acceptance letters and lots of happy future nurses among us all!

:yelclap:  :yelclap:
