Hello, I called Wayne finger lakes boces lpn program this past Friday to see were I stand. Turns out I'm on the waitlist for the September 2017 class. I'm not sure abut wait lists I have never been on one. Does anybody know is it okay to ask were I'm at on the list? I do know we get points for different things we had to to do and I got 13 points and he lady said 14 or higher was accepted, but I still have a chance I guess. Anyone looking into this program or knows they're on the waitlist, or anything about the waitlist!!??
Floor_Nurse 173 Posts May 14, 2017 I was on a waiting list for a different LPN school. Some people give up which puts you higher up and increases your chances. Just hang in there. It worked out nicely for me.

My tease scores were on the lower end. The one I'm on the wait list for I actually scored higher so we'll see. I should know more info by the 1st of next month....
Floor_Nurse 173 Posts May 14, 2017 No problem. I love to talk when it's a topic I'm familiar with. Some threads here require me to nearly violate HIPPA privacy so I don't say anything. I was almost bumped off the list for the LPN class (which would've meant a long wait). I was fortune that someone had to withdraw unexpectedly. That created an opening for me and I gladly accepted. That was a few years ago and I've been a nurse ever since.
SweetLola648 26 Posts Jul 27, 2017 Still haven't received any info on my school. Class starts in September, I called again today they said they sent letters out today, and she doesn't have a non acceptance letter for me so there's still hope!!!! Fingers crossed!!!
