Hello,

I didn't see a thread started for the second degree nursing program for Wagner College for fall 2019. Has anyone else applied for this cohort?

Have you heard anything yet? I have my interview at the end of the week

The woman who interviewed me said i would hear back in about 4-5 weeks

There is another thread. titled WAGNER ABSN FALL 2019

Hi Dreben,

How has the workload been for fall, spring, and the summer semesters? Will I have time to do hobbies or is it studying day and night? Is it brutal or on the easier side? I'd just like to be mentally prepared before going in. Any professors to stay away from? Thanks!

Hello ekj152,

Thats a yes and no question... the first week was rough... you'll all most likely have a 16+ chapter exam by the end of the first week of classes. After the first week you'll be averaging a test per week per class with about 8 chapters worth of materials per test (don't worry though... the professors coordinate together so you wont have an exam on the same week with 2 separate classes). And yes its basically studying day and night but it all comes down to how well you retain information and time management. You'll start getting your free time back when you learn how to optimize the way you study. As far as i'm aware there isn't any real way to choose professors but I assure you they are all very good at what they do and they all care about your success.
