Hello, I have an interview next Monday and was wondering if anyone already had theirs. If so, do you mind sharing your experiences and some general questions that were asked?

I had my interview this past Monday and it was a pleasant experience! My interviewer asked questions such as why did you choose to pursue nursing, why Wagner, and how do you handle stress? She also reviewed my prerequisites and asked when I will be taking the TEAS exam. However, she didn't give me a clear answer as to when we should hear back about a decision. So if anyone finds out, please let us know!

Had my interview on Wednesday with one of the professors. She was very nice and it was a pretty laid back interview. Asked me to talk about myself, why am I pursing nursing, what is a regular day is like for a nurse (since I had volunteered at the hospital), how I handle stress, and how I would handle commuting to different boroughs for rotations. She asked about when I would finish nutrition and my TEAS, telling me to submit it ASAP. She said to expect an answer in 6 weeks from the Dean who will be making the final decision on acceptance, and that she hopes she will see me on campus!

Wow 6 weeks seem so far away, hopefully we hear back sooner! Do you know if the TEAS scores have to be sent in before we get a decision? I was under the impression that everything just needs to be sent in before the program started.

I'm not too sure but she said you may or may not get an "acceptance pending" if you haven't completed everything. Have it in by June 1st but try to do it a lot sooner is what I was told.

Oh okay thanks! I also checked with Lynne and she told me that some decisions will be going out earlier than others, starting later this month and continuing throughout the month of April.

Oh cool hopefully we get in! ? Also wonder where the other applicants are at LOL looking at previous ABSN cohort threads there seemed to be way more people on here.

I was wondering the same haha. Wagner's one of my top choices since I live pretty close and I like that the program is smaller.

Nope. Only been 2 weeks but I'm getting a little anxious LOL. Wish we had more people to talk on here discussing.

Hi ! I had my interview on March 16 she basically asked me all the same questions as you guys.  
Hopefully we hear back soon!
