Yeah so whoever needs to finish Nutrition has until August 1st but TEAS needs to be done by June 1st.

I emailed her so I'll see in the morning what she says. I don't mind taking the TEAS before June but it would help a bit if I didn't have to rush doing Nutrition LOL.

Hey so for the people that got their acceptances, do you know if we have til august 1st now to submit TEAS and prereq classes? The acceptance letter says no later than august 1 but we had the June 1st deadline before that.

It was like 4-5 MC, couple true or false where if it was false you had to say why it was false, and rest were fill in. There was a question similar to the case study that was like what would you tell this man to change his diet iirc. But the fill ins were mainly like the quiz before the case study. Like one question was differentiate appetite and hunger.

Just the first exam so far. Got a 92 for two stupid mistakes. Gonna take the second one either tomorrow or fri. How about you?

I'm taking my TEAS end of April. Currently doing Nutrition on Portage which isn't bad. I was told that as long as everything is submitted by June 1st you should be OK. TEAS is instantaneous grading so if you for some reason don't do well you can schedule another exam quickly since you'll have the results right after you finish.

Nope. Only been 2 weeks but I'm getting a little anxious LOL. Wish we had more people to talk on here discussing.

Oh cool hopefully we get in! ? Also wonder where the other applicants are at LOL looking at previous ABSN cohort threads there seemed to be way more people on here.

I'm not too sure but she said you may or may not get an "acceptance pending" if you haven't completed everything. Have it in by June 1st but try to do it a lot sooner is what I was told.

Had my interview on Wednesday with one of the professors. She was very nice and it was a pretty laid back interview. Asked me to talk about myself, why am I pursing nursing, what is a regular day is like for a nurse (since I had volunteered at the hospital), how I handle stress, and how I would handle commuting to different boroughs for rotations. She asked about when I would finish nutrition and my TEAS, telling me to submit it ASAP. She said to expect an answer in 6 weeks from the Dean who will be making the final decision on acceptance, and that she hopes she will see me on campus!
